Hi all,
I repeatedly make certain typos, particularly with apostrophes becoming semi-colons. In Word, checking the AutoCorrect option tool takes care of that plus any almost any other typo. But I can’t get it to work in Entourage with any word that contains an apostrophe
(eg, I need to change “can;t” to “can’t”)
I can;t [there it is again!] find any mention of the problem or solution on Mactopia. Do any of you know about this and have any suggestions?

The autocorrect in Entourage is much simpler than the one in word – in Entourage, all punctuation acts as a word boundary, so the autocorrect can't correct entries with punctuation characters in – they are taken as two words.
So, you could have an entry to correct "canjt", but not "can;t".
