Not so much a bug as a limitation – by design, if not be desire.


But it's in the default AutoCorrect list! That means that the intention was that it would be auto-corrected. That makes it so much as a bug that it isn't corrected. (Or, if you insists, a bug that several words containing ";" are included in the list. But that seems a back-to-front way of looking at it.) The developer who included AutoCorrect in Entourage evidently wasn't aware of how ";" acts as a word delimiter in  the text engine that a (different? maybe, maybe not) developer implemented for Entourage's plain and HTML text. The testers didn't test for these words. Beta testers didn't catch it.

It's a bug, one way or the other.
