You might just want to disable the font by moving the font out /System Folder/Fonts/ and then re-launching the application. For some reason, some applications mistakenly use Curlz MT rather than more legible fonts.

When I was using OS 9, pasted copy was something normal like Verdana. I sometimes use Mac mail — but not often — and pasted info into that is my normal font.
I can’t figure how to change this so that when I paste, the font is normal. As it’s working now, I have to change the font of everything I paste into email. It’s a hassle and time consuming.
I looked under preferences but didn’t see anything that seemed to pertain to this.
