Apology accepted (by me, anyway). I have very good success and stability using Entourage 2004 with our Exchange server every day -- but there's a caveat:
Initially, I was using Entourage for my campus email and my personal ISP email (both via POP). When the campus went to Exchange, I added an Exchange account to my Entourage setup, and began having difficulties; I don't remember the specifics. I ended up moving my personal POP mail to the Mozilla Thunderbird client, leaving only Exchange mail on Entourage. I haven't had a problem since. For some, this approach might be simply unacceptable; I find it less than perfect, but workable. In any case, I can't do without the Exchange calendar functions in my workplace, so I'm stuck with Entourage or the web-based client OWA (which is almost reasonable on Windows IE, but is definitely uncool on any Mac browser). -- Joshua On 8/8/06 10:48 AM, "pmendelson" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > Linda, > > No rudeness intended, so please accept my apology. > > I do not make the statements I made in a vacuum. > I have, many times in the past, posted those issues on the list, in the > hopes of getting a solution, usually to no avail. > I would eagerly assume it's just me, or my machine, but for the fact that > I've seen all of these problems on 3 different machines. > > The one thing common is that my installation talks to an Exchange server > (over a very robust network, I might add), and I sense that many on this > list do not use an exchange server. > > Again, my apologies.
