Apology accepted (by me, anyway).

I have very good success and stability using Entourage 2004 with our
Exchange server every day -- but there's a caveat:

Initially, I was using Entourage for my campus email and my personal ISP
email (both via POP). When the campus went to Exchange, I added an Exchange
account to my Entourage setup, and began having difficulties; I don't
remember the specifics. I ended up moving my personal POP mail to the
Mozilla Thunderbird client, leaving only Exchange mail on Entourage. I
haven't had a problem since.

For some, this approach might be simply unacceptable; I find it less than
perfect, but workable. In any case, I can't do without the Exchange
calendar functions in my workplace, so I'm stuck with Entourage or the
web-based client OWA (which is almost reasonable on Windows IE, but is
definitely uncool on any Mac browser).
