I don't know which Documents folder that Entourage 2001 looks into when it's running in Classic, so the easiest way to solve this is to put both of your Identities in the MUD folders of each Documents location.
In each MUD folder, there should be a folder called Main Identity (probably inside an Office 2001 Identities folder). Rename the first one you mentioned to Base Identity or something that you'll easily recognize, then rename the second one something like Home Identity. Then copy each one into the opposite Identities folder. When you launch Entourage, it will probably ask you which Identity to use. Choose one and see if it's the one with your old messages. If it isn't, choose Entourage>Switch Identity... and check the other one.
