In any case, virtually all common email readers on both platforms now handle
Unicode just fine. So unless you suspect that your recipient may be using an
ancient email program, don't be concerned about the Unicode alert and just
send the message.

It only happened on one message, and I did finally hit "Send anyway."
I am new to Entourage (and to this list), having used Outlook for so
many years. Those thoughts will give me something to look for if it
happens again.

I will have some other questions about Entourage, as I've really only
been using it for a week or so, but tonight I'm headed to Little Rock
to teach a class in Outlook 2003. Funny, but prepping for the class
inspired me to finally start moving my email from Windows (which I am
leaving) to my Mac, which I am transitioning to.

I did the whole .mbox thing, and have half of my folders moved over,
but then I discovered a utility from Microsoft that I plan to try
after I return to see if it does a better job.

Thanks,
Jane
