The option to partially receive messages over a certain size is in the
'Options' pane of the accounts settings dialog ('accounts' from Tools menu,
then open the account settings from the list of accounts)

A new security feature in Entourage 2004 blocks the display of pictures (and
other linked mail content) hosted on remote sites. Images can be loaded for
individual messages by clicking on the Download Pictures¹ link in the
yellow message status bar. This was a huge feature request from users that
found the all embracing All Pictures¹ or No Pictures¹ too limiting.
There is a setting in the security section of the preferences to
automatically download pictures from recipients who are in your address
book. That should suffice for most users.

As a rough guess, you have accidentally created a mailing List Manager entry
for your email address, and it has the default setting of 'reply to list'.
Such entries are all too easy to create by accident when marking mail 'not
junk' - the dialog displayed refers to 'mail rules', rather than MLM entries
and is misleading.
Under the Tools menu, again. Check 'Mailing List Manager', and delete any
entries you have not intentionally created.

This should be possible, but I'm not familiar with 'didtheyreadit'. Does
this just mean that instead of sending to [EMAIL PROTECTED] you just send it
to [EMAIL PROTECTED] If so, a script to check addresses in
an open draft window could be run by schedule every minute. However, before
you go that far, take a look at how Entourage can be set up to send DNR
requests here:
