Dear Lista's I have used iCal for several years, developing a database of family events and business tasks that I print out 12 months at a time. This year the printouts became unusable due to entries that duplicated, contained times that weren't supposed to print, fonts too small to use, etc. (Last year was different from the year before and not all that good, either.)
I went to the Apple Store Genius Bar and after several attempts to explain/fix my problem, suggested that I try Entourage Calendar. I already had an unpopulated Entourage calendar in iCal; I copied my existing iCal calendar to the Entourage iCal calendar and began cleaning it up by eliminating duplicates, etc. I did this for January and February, put the Mac to sleep and went to have dinner; when I returned, the calendar was filled with duplicates! I have "synchronize events and tasks with iCal and .Mac" checked in the Sync Services tab of Entourage Preferences. I'll uncheck this and see if my fixes will stick. I also looked at the Sync tab of my DotMac preferences pane and noted that the Calendars box was unchecked. Further, when I print out a monthly calendar, can I delete the mini calendars in the upper left and right corners of the printout? I'd rather have the monthly calendar info cover more of the sheet of paper. Does anybody have any suggestions? Thanks for your help!
