Hi, Barbara --

OS X assigns memory to the various apps you're running as it's needed by
each app. Launch Activity Monitor (found in the Applications > Utilities
folder) and click the tab to see RAM usage. This will tell you whether
you're truly out of RAM on your Mac, or whether the error message is the
result of Entourage being confused about what's going on. (I get the very
same message on occasion, and will have over 1GB of RAM free when I get it,
so I know that the message is spurious!

How much do you have installed on your G5? Exactly what are you trying to do
when you get this message? (In my case, I get it when I'm trying to edit an
Account a while after the program has been launched. If I quit Entourage and
relaunch, and then do my editing/etc. right away, I do not get the "Not
Enough Memory" message -- not until Entourage has been running for a while.)

If you have a relatively low amount of RAM, and you have other apps running,
and Activity Monitor shows you have no free RAM, the only way you can
increase RAM for Entourage is by quitting some of your other apps. If
Activity Monitor shows that you have plenty of free RAM when you get the
message, you may have a different issue with Entourage, and getting the
message only because it doesn't know what else to tell you. :-)

peace,
Linda
