Hi-

I would recommend abandoning the database. Drag your mail folders from
Entourage to the desktop, it will convert it to mbox format. Delete the
existing profile all together and just build a new one. Then drag the email
back in or import it through the menu.

Also, you can burn the mboxs to a DVD or CD as a backup and they can be
opened by almost every mail application. Much more useful than just backing
up the Entourage database in my experience.

Sometime the database just goes bad.
