I tried sending this a few minutes ago with screen shots because I thought
I'd recently seen a message on this list with screen shots, but I guess not
because it was returned to me saying it couldn't be sent because it had
"enclosures". Are those attachments?

Anyway, here's my message, minus the visuals.

+++++++
I'm not seeing photos in my emails when I open an email, but see them in the
attachment box where I have to click to open and then get a message asking
do I really want to open it and then click yes. So then I set my preferences
to automatically download attachments from people in my address book. But
you can see from the screen shot below that it's not doing it. Why? I get
sooooo many attachments (I do animal rescue and we're always sending pix of
animals in need.) that going thru these 2 extra steps in MANY, MANY emails
is just time I'd rather not have to expend -- and it's aggravating. In Mac
Mail the photos were always right there to look at.

Second, in the second screen shot look at all this gibberish that never was
in my Mac Mail emails. This is at the bottom of the first screen shot I'm
sending. What is this and can I eliminate it?

And third, is there not any way I can SEE attachments that I send in my
outgoing mail? For instance, when I put these screen shots in, I don't see
them. They appear only in the attachments' box. I want to SEE what I'm
sending to make sure I'm sending the right thing without having to open it
in the attachments' box, answer the question do I really want to open it,
and then see it.

I use email just for sending and receiving, mainly for the animal rescue and
also for sending and receiving files related to my work. I'll never use it
for any extra fancy-schmancy stuff, so I wonder if Entourage is what I
should be using? I want something VERY visual.

Louise
