As a long, long time Eudora/POP emailer switching over to
Entourage/Exchange, I am still having some problems finding ways to do
things that I think should be doable. Any tips or pointers appreciated.

My set up is Entourage 2004 (v11.3.6) on a Mac PBP connecting to a corporate
Exchange server. How do I

1. Change my password on the exchange server? (I know, this seems
ridiculously pathetic, but I really have tried to do this and can't.)

2. Automatically add the addresses of everyone I send mail to to my address
book? Eudora had both AB and a history list, history kept everyone you sent
messages to so they would auto-complete without being in AB. Very powerful
feature.

3. Set up a a rule to act on outgoing messages? For example, Use signature
x when sending to list y.

4. Set the address book on my computer as the default, not the one on the
exchange server? When I add a person to my address book, they get placed in
the Contacts on the server, not the AB on my machine.

5. Get the junk mail filter to recognize mail as junk? I get 2 or 3 spams a
day about flowers. I consistently mark them as junk, and yet I keep getting
them in my inbox. Doesn't look as if the spam filter is learning my
preferences at all. (Or that it just really likes flowers. :-)

6. Change the color of the font used to show messages based on a rule?
E.g., throw all Mac mailing lists into one folder, but color code the source
list.

This list has helped me a great deal in the month I've been struggling with
this conversion, and I appreciate it. Going from Eudora power user to
Entourage newbie has been a humbling and frustrating experience.
