As I mentioned earlier, your MUD (Microsoft User Data) is located here:

Hard Disk/Users/your_user_name/Documents/Microsoft User Data/Office 2004
Identities/Main Identity

In your previous email, you noted that you had a backup of your original
hard disk, so then you presumably have a backup of your MUD folder on the
backup hard disk.

You can drag copy the old MUD folder (with all its contents) from the backup
disk to your startup (internal) Leopard disk. Just make sure to drag it to
where it belongs. It belongs in the location shown above.

For Entourage, you do not need anything from your "Previous System" folder.
All you need to do is:

1) Reinstall Microsoft Entourage from your original installation disks.
The installer will create a new MUD folder in the location shown above.

2) Drag the old MUD folder from the backup disk to the proper location on
the startup disk. Note that if you already reinstalled Entourage, and you
already used Entourage, then any mail in the "new" Entourage MUD folder will
be replaced -- lost -- when you drag the old MUD folder to your internal HD
and replace the existing MUD folder.

If you did use the new Entourage, and you want to keep those emails before
they are overwritten, just click on the message inside Entourage, and drag
it to your Desktop (or a folder on your Desktop). After you drag your old
MUD folder to your startup HD, thereby replacing the existing "new"
Entourage folder, you can start Entourage. When Entourage is open, you can
drag the email (files) from your Desktop into Entourage.

3) Set your Entourage preferences as you like them, since your old prefs
are gone (in the "Previous System" and related folders).

4) Do the Entourage updates when you are ready.
