The suggestion by revDave (above) to rebuild/compact the Entourage database is a good one, but I would suggest that you not rebuild/compact the database until you have first quit Entourage and duplicated the database in the Finder, or stored/archived a copy. You might as well burn it to a CD, or put it on your backup drive. Once you find that the newly rebuilt/compacted database is working properly, you can then trash the copy. If the new one is not working properly, you can then replace it with the original. Note that after the rebuild, you will have a file <Database (old)> that you can trash.
