I need to re-initialize my old G4 PowerBook running Tiger (presently at
version: 10.4.11) and Office 2008 which is at version: 12.1.1 (080522). I've
saved my entire MUD folder, but I'll have to use the ancient original
installers. That means that...

...Once I install the original versions of 10.4 and Office 2008 on it, I'll
have to go through many, many, many, many iterations of software updates to
both 10.4 and Office to get back to today's current versions of Mac OS 10.4 and
Office - specifically Entourage.

At what point during this install and update process can I (or should I) move
my saved identities (and mail) back into Documents/Microsoft User Data/Office
2008?

As Office went through various updates, did the file formats of the database
and other files change such that the original version of Entourage would not be
able to handle them correctly? Are there any other things to replace or worry
about?

Or can i just import everything into Entourage right after installing the
original version of Office and then work my way through the updates? Will there
be any compatibility issues if I do that?

Thanks,

D. Reddingit
