What will that do? I thought I'd read some reasons to not update on this list. Does that make the rebuild process run faster? or something else? > When Entourage did the rebuild, it made a copy. The copy is the version that refused to launch, though, precipitating my need to do the rebuild, so what's the benefit in saving it? Something I'm missing? At any rate, it's already been deleted. :( 10GB was a lot to keep laying around, so it's gone. > Manually move out your data Will this retain the Sent and Received information, and any attachments? > Jolly's script takes a huge amount of time. Any idea on the question of what "current selection" means in the description of his script? Other than that Jolly's take a long time, do you have a suggestion on which of the four you'd recommend/prefer (my original question)? > but there are scripts that will export as MBOX files and get the subfolders > that I would also do since it's such a simple procedure and having extra > backup never hurts. I have folders, subfolders, and sub-subfolders. Will these scripts keep the sent/received information, categories info, and attachments? If you go the .rge route, will all of my old mail forever be in the "Main.rge" folder with subfolders? What happens to new mail? Is there a way to get the folders set in Rules to not have to open each rule? I have... almost a hundred rules. Is there a way to export your account info? I have had some of these email accounts so long I don't remember the passwords, so recreating the accounts will be... impossible.
