I think you're misreading that section - it maybe isn't as clear as it
could be. I believe it is referring to moving the folders into other
folders, rather than re-ordering the subfolders of a particular folder.
BTW, my IMAP accounts are at the top of the column, whereas
previously --

this was a change in '08. A lot of people with only Exchange or IMAP
accounts used to complain that the 'On My Computer' hierarchy was
stuck at the top of the list and got in the way. so, now your default
mail account is top of the list and if it is not a POP account the 'on
my computer' bit goes to the bottom
Any way to get
them to be at the bottom like in '04? As it is, it's forcing me to
open the
window more than I like to see the folders down at the bottom.
only by making your default account a POP account, I'm sorry to say.
