helpful in setting us up in the past with boats, logistics, etc.

Somebody with NPS connections should try contacting Congaree folks and see
if there isn't a "partnering" opportunity...many times NPS program managers
are faced with undo-able tasks, with no money and no volunteers...perhaps
the changing of the guard this January, there might be opportunities for
ENTS volunteers, if not by February, then in other locations elsewhere.

     BVP, Sillet, Blozan, the tall trees of Congaree will be getting the
treat of their growing lives. I hope the NPS recognizes the incredible team
that is being assembled to add invaluable scientific tree measurement data
to the hopper. But regardless, the data will be available through ENTS to
interested researchers.
