Thanks Sam. The large tulip tree is on the edge of the white pine forest to the north of the sanctuary. As you enter the open field from the access road (boardwalk is to the left and behind you) you stay along the right side of the field and enter the woods on an access road. The tulip tree is across from a beaver pond that is on the right.
