I don't think that we here in eastern central Missouri have many lowbush blueberries but that is the only "variaty" that we would have. (I don't think that highbush blueberries are native here but they should do good on our acidic soils.) The berry that is full swing around here is blackberries. I just help do bathymetric mapping of three ponds for the conseveration department and we found enough balckberries to feed an army. Also I thought it was poetic that how the posts were posted to my email over the weekend...first from Will and the giants he climbed and measured then from Barry and the dwarfs he described.
