Jenny- I've got one for you. It's old, it's a classic, it's " "USFS 1919: The Ranger, the Cook, and a Hole in the Sky"which appears in most versions of "A River Runs Through It" by Norm Maclean, then later made into a movie with Brad Pitt, Tom Skerrit with some success. If you haven't read or seen "River", you're likely to enjoy it.
Just realized I've got another for you...written by Ken Kesey, "Sometimes a Great Notion" is a great read in an unusual style, and also a great movie starring Henry Fonda, Paul Newman, Lee Remick, Richard Jaeckel, and well, probably others that you may not have heard of...:>) -Don > Date: Mon, 24 Aug 2009 16:51:14 -0700 > Subject: [ENTS] Need Tree Fiction Recommendations > From: [email protected] > To: [email protected] > > > ENTS, > > So, my head can't take anymore non-fiction about trees.
