SOunds like something I should know about...I know that Bob Mathiason has been 
doing research on hemlock dwarf mistletoe, but don't know of any isolated 
pockets.  I looked in the accompanying hypertext and didn't see 
anything...could you catch me up?

Yes it is a shame.  I am wondering abut the isolated pockets of 
hemlocks in northern Arizona - are they still alive?  If anyone gets down 
that way maybe they could check them out.
