Kouta,
I would like to do a kind of James Hutton tour of Scotland, then go to see all the cool geological happenings in Iceland. Then I want to go to northern California to see the trees, Yosemite, Sierra Nevadas, Death Valley after a rain storm, etc (been to San Fran and LA, but that's it in CA). And, finally, I have never visited Mt. Katahdin and Baxter State Park in my own home state of Maine! On that trip I would like to find some way to take a plane tour over the Unorganized Territories that make up so much of the northern part of the state. Whatever their temporal state on the growth continuum, the forests must be pretty impressive. What about your top 5? Oh, by the way, how do you pronounce your name? Is it approximately "COO-ta ROW-sew-nen"? My Finnish knowledge is limited, but I like the Finnish hockey players we have/had on the NHL (Tikkanen, Jari Kurri and Reijo Ruotsolainen, etc. But don't like Ruutu!) I've read some good papers about urban forests in Finland too. Maybe you wrote them! And I know that the Finnish language is supposed to be closely related to Hungarian. How impressive is that???? Oh, and, of course, Sibelius, conductor Esa Pekka Salonen and the glorious soprano Karita Mattila (in my opinion, the greatest soprano for the past 15 years) Thanks for asking about my dream trips.
