ENTS:

Today Patti and I spent a wonderful fall day in Catamount. I had to
show off some of my finds, and when we got to the 139' ash I noticed
one I hadn't yet measured. It turned out to be a winner, 143.4'h x
6.8'c. I measured it a few times just to be sure. We headed up and
out of that cove and down to another, where we encountered a 111.9'
red oak. Those were the tree highlights of the day, and they bring
the Catamount Rucker index to 116.0.
