A return with clinometer is very, very justified! I was there ~ 20 years ago and was floored by it then. Sounds like some great potential. The white and red oaks are amazing. Some of you (Jess Riddle in particular) may know about the 67 acre parcel of old growth in the city limits of Atlanta known as Fernbank Forest. I happen to work at Fernbank Museum and have had the opportunity to do more exploring in our forest as of late with my newly acquired laser rangefinder.
