When I lived in the city, I used to have Merlins and Peregrine Falcons
monitoring my bird feeders. When I moved into the country at my last home,
I used to have Cooper's Hawks and Sharp-Shinned Hawks monitoring my bird
feeders. All were successful bird hunters, so the bird feeders fed all
birds!! There are way too many feral cats in my current area, so I don't
have a bird feeder any more, but I still see Cooper's hawks as I drive to
work. Do you have any falcons or accipters hanging around to eat your prey
birds?
