I just did exactly the same thing about one week ago. I bought my Elan7e from B&H for
$539 and the BP-300 grip for $59.

I sold my Rebel 2000 body and BP-200 grip on ebay in separate auctions. I set a $200
reserve for the camera and got $235. I set a $25 reserve for the grip and got $39!!!!
(The grip cost $29.95). I probably paid $10-$15 in combined ebay fees though I never
figured that out or looked. I'm happy with the results. I should point out that both
items were four months old, mint in their boxes with all paperwork and I had nice
phot0s in the ads. No guarantees on the future.

One opinion, the BP-300 is a RIPOFF! This thing has one additonal button and a little
flip mechanism inside to allow both AAs and lithiums. Other than that they are almost
identical. The 300 costs twice as much as the 200. The item was strictly priced
relative to the matching body, not functionality.
