I have the EOS Canon 24-84 zoom and am quite happy with it. I chose
it over the 28-135 IS because of price, size, and weight. I also
liked wanted a 24mm. My immpression in that the optics of 24-84 are
above average and at least equal to the 28-105 or the 28-135 IS. I
have not personally compared the lenses myself.
