With my IIE, the ECF worked very well in the horizontal position, but was
very erratic in the vertical position. However, I wear a pair of bifocals,
and I think in the vertical position there may be a problem with viewfinder
overlapping the "line" or the lens area where your eyebrows marr the lens.
Different light conditions also seems to have an effect. Request a trial
before you buy. Most people seem to indicate "no problem."
