No, my EOS 10 is black, just the way I like a camera to be :-)
I have no idea about extra features, there was so many features. I'm no
expert on a new camera...
It was black, had lots of buttons and dials, and viewfinder info was
different than I'm used to, it had a scale at the bottom. However, since I
was with the wife, I had only a short look. I'll check it out in detail
later this week. Heck, I'm not even sure now it was badged a 7e, or if it
was actually a 30e, sorry, I was excited and actually looking for lenses,
just gave it a quick look :) I was thinking since the Elan II I saw was an
EOS 50e, likely the 7e I saw was a 30e...
For slightly more than a used EOS 10 or 1000, I can get a used EOS 1,
and I like the look of that camera. Built in diopter too, the used one I
checked out I couldn't focus, until the guy pulled the viewfinder rubber
off, and there was a diopter adjuster... then if seemed clear to me.
I've seen several EOS 1000 models here, they seem to go for quite a bit
of cash used, as well, the EOS 10 holds a good price used. I have no idea
what the 1000 model actually is in N.A. terms, was it a Rebel, or an Elan?
