Most of the reports that I have seen on this issue have been in the Forums
on Phil Askey's Digital Daily site in the Canon and Pro Digital Talk Forums.

One of the main threads on this issue is:

You get a pretty good idea of the different views on the subject and
experiences of various users if you read that thread.
Rob Galbraith's report as mentioned in the thread is at:
http://www.robgalbraith.com/diginews/2000-11/2000_11_05_d30.html
He mentions that the focusing is slower than the EOS3. My concern is not
that it is not as fast as an EOS 3, but exactly which Canon is it most
similar to in focusing performance in low light and in tracking subjects? I
can live with Rebel quality autofocusing, but not with 630 performance
which some have claimed is most similar.
