I was using my friends camera (D30) for some swing dance
pictures at a ballroom with low light - I am used to taking
pics with my Elan iie. He had the 28-70 lens. Focusing was
much worse than my Elan IIe, to the point that I could not
take more than 3 pics that were in focus. I never had that
problem with my Elan ii. Also the flash white light assist
for focusing was totally annoying. I do not own the camera so
I didn't want to play with the custom functions to disable
this (he said it is possible).
