Well Jim, I suppose the votes are still being counted on the EOS 30/Elan 7
and we won't know the result until all the votes are (hand) counted. Or
maybe the EOS Supreme Court (this list) will make a final ruling.
It is only with the hands-on experiences of the first users that the rest
of us will know what is good and what is bad about the new body.
I posted here about 6 weeks ago that I had placed my order with a UK
company that offers cameras-at-lowest-prices and they have let me down
big-time. Not only did they charge my CC when I placed my order they could
not meet the promised delivery date. I have cancelled the order with them
and have ordered the EOS 30 c/w BP-300 at www.ny-camera.com where *I know*
I will receive good service. I am taking steps to ensure that my refund is
in place as soon as possible, but I really don't like companies that charge
CC's prior to delivery.
BTW - Happy Thanksgiving to all my friends and contacts in the USA. (Have
you all seen the link at Bob Talbot's website where there is notification
that HRH Queen Elizabeth II has revoked US Independence??
