I've ordered the TS-E 24 mm and from my readings on the web and elsewhere,
it seems you need to take your meter readings before you shift the lense.
I've also read that you sometime need to use a graduated ND filter to
compensate for the effects of the shift. My question therefore is: Do you
shift the lens, set the ND filter to balance the light, then shift the lens
back and take a meter reading and set your manual exposure, then finally
shift it back and take the photo, or is there some other easier way? I just
would like to know what others have done so I don't have to do umpteen
different metering test using all the possible combinations of metering with
and without the filter, before shifting, etc.
