Both the convertors will work fine with this lens. The 1.4x will still allow
good AF performance and negligable image degradation. I have tracked race
bikes on the track with this setup and was surprised how well it works. The
2x works but AF is noticably affected and image quality suffers a bit
dependant on subject/shooting conditions. Both convertors are worth having
but I use the 1.4x more often.
