    I dunno, I never tried full auto mode. Maybe it's trying to tell you
it's time to graduate to P or better yet, Av mode. Heck, you could even fool
around in M mode! At least in these modes it won't try to pop up.
    P mode will be much like full auto, you don't have to worry about
screwing anything up, but don't get the control of the Av and M modes.
    The only 'cure' I can think of might be to clean the contacts of both
flash and camera hotshoe.
