It would be interesting if there were cameras with memory such that if
you were shooting with a zoom, it would record not only the f stop and
shutter speed (that would be handy for many reasons) but the focal
length you shot at.  (If the camera is able to communicate all of that
to a flash, it must be able to send it to a little memory chip - hey
maybe it exists?)  So often with a zoom I'm in a situation where I'm
changing constantly and just looking through the VF, and later I don't
know what focal length something was shot at.  Could even do a
statistical study, and make a prime lens choice based on it.
