Since the IX is an APS-format camera, it'll depend on
whether you can get APS slide film where you live,
here in the US it is not available. 

The information about exposure, focal length, etc. is
magnetically encoded on the film's surface... so
printing it on the slide mount is a matter of
recovering it from the film with and inductive head
and printing it, which depends on the processing
machine. (So it's possible, but I don't know whether
anyone actually DOES it.)

Frankly, I'm a little confused about Canon's refusal
to acknowledge that exposure information recording is
a wanted feature even on consumer level SLR's, it
seems like a "databack" that takes a compact flash
card to save data (exposure, time, date, etc.) is the
direction other manufacturers are moving in...
