The "sunny 16" rule simply states that under average conditions, on a clear
sunny day, the correct exposure for any film is f 16 with the shutter speed
set (as near as possible) to the ISO speed of the film. For example, using
ISO 100 film in full sunlight, a correct exposure would be f 16 at 1/125
second.
