Basic home insurance will cover your camera equipment among other stuff
when in Finland. If your gear is exceptionally valuable you might want to
add it as a special item mentioned in your insurance contract. Travel
insurance will cover them when out of country, but usually travel insurance
has some maximum value for luggage, so for traveling you probably need some
special insurance. Anyway you should always have photographs of any items
with special value, although this might be a problem when trying to get a
photo of your camera ;-) Also, take note of serialnumbers of your gear.

You should shop around to get best deal, but generally any insurance
company will do. Some companies you can start with are Sampo
http://www.sampo.fi/, Turva http://www.turva.fi/, Tapiola
http://www.tapiola.fi/ and Pohjola http://www.pohjola.fi/ . All of them
have offices in Helsinki.

Just explain them what you need and they will take it from there.
