Well, it is not a brief burst of light. There are two
systems. One is a continuous light and the other one
is a strobe. Both of them are on for a couple of
seconds before the actual exposure. Sometimes people
still have read eyes. But I think this is not because
the light wasn't on long enough but just because of
the angle and when the flash is the main light.
