Very interested in your use of the D30 for sports photography because I
am considering going digital for the next ice hockey season. There's
certainly no question that the image quality is outstanding. But my
biggest consideration is that the frame rate, especially in AI Servo
mode, is a rather pedestrian 3fps or less. Do you find that at all
limiting?
I looked at the other photos of basket ball you have posted and my only
criticism is that the depth of field in some of them is too great - the
players don't stand out enough from the audience. What lens did you
use?
