Hi Guys, I was just packing my bag ready for tomorrow while reading emails
and thought I could help out. I put the 70-200/4 + 2x TC on the -3 and took
it outside. Only the centre sensor is available. The others are not
selectable manually of with ECF. I was able to lock focus with both
horizontal and vertical objects in moderate sunlight, but it was fairly slow
and did hunt several times. AF at f8 is not something I would recommend for
this body. My old Minolta 800si with 500/8 reflex mirror lens did a better
job to be honest, still, I'm not compaining.
Regards, Tim
