I can't comment on the lenses you refer to.
I thought I'd let you know that Tokina has a 24-200mm f/3.5-5.6 in the
works (yes, twentyfour-two hundred, four extra millimeter for what it's
worth) to make your decision harder :-)
There's a little article about it in the latest Popular Photography. Takes
72mm filters, weighs 24 ounces.
