Hi list! I wrote the other day and ask a few questions. No one replied, so I
will ask again in hopes some one out there can help me.
I would like any and all input I can get from you folks about the New Tamron
28-200mm II. I hear they have really improved upon it. Is it sharp from
135mm to 200? How about the contrast and flare characteristics. I feel
pretty confident in the assumption that the lens hood is really necessary. I
need a good point and shoot lens and I want this range.
Also, any info about the quality of the new Canon 28-200 would be nice
as well. Price is steep! (by way of comparison). Worth the price I wonder?
I did not get the issue of Popular Photography where they tested the new
Tamron
28-200 II. If some one could send me a scan I would appreciate it.
