EOS Canon 550ex vs Metz 54 mz-3

Hello All

Any eos user tried the new metz 54 mz-3.

I was considering the 500ex until i read about the metz54 mz-3.  Therefore,
I would appreciate any input from anyone who has compared these two flashes.
