I have to disagree Peter. I've read three of John's books and he does not
push Nikon on anyone. Most of his picture just state focal length,
aperature and shutterspeed. In his equipment selection sections of his
books, he describes features he considers necessary, and most of these are
available on many models from many different manufactorer. Please give him
a little credit for being a professional. Of course he has to use one
system or another, and if many of us had started 20+ years ago, we would
have gone with Nikon. I can also forgive someone for operating equipment in
accordance with manufactorer instructions and stating the limitations of
this presents.
