I love this lens.  I don't own the 85 or 100, so I can't compare them.  I like being 
able to totally blur the background for some portraits.  Another thing I really like 
is the tripod collar.  Just loosen it a but and turn the lens and camera to a vertical 
position.  Quicker and easer to make these adjustments with the tripod collar.

It is heavy, but the quality and fleibilty make up for it.

Does anyone use this lens for portraits?  How does it compare to the 100 f/2
or 85 f/1.8
