Well, I have no idea of the 28-90, but what comes to 28-80 USM IV, which I
had before I got 28-105... yes, the 28-105 is much nicer and better in
both handling and construction as well as overall feel, but optically it's
not really bettar at all. Maybe slightly, but not really that much. (It's
a bit faster I think...)
