I know, I can read. Still it is very little energy.
The receiving system must receive enough light to detect
command signals, and it must be enough to differentiate
the comands. 1/32 power is not very much for this task,
since you cannot amplify incoming signals to infinity.
It is enough if you can *see* the remote device.
And that was my main point: This limits the photographer
very much in his ability to set lights in scene.

As long as one can see the remote flash, right. I have
worked with servo cells of all kinds, including the very
high sensitive Wein cells. There were numerous situations
where the cell wouldn't fire the flash, and the primary
flash was a heavy studio flash device.
Believe me, wireless is less energy, and it needs control
commands, not just a firing impulse.
On the other hand I understand that you possibly have no
idea about the lighting I am speaking about.

Given the physical basics and my professional experience
in lighting, I am talking fact.

Somebody just posted an URL to the Flash Works brochure
online. I have looked at it, and find all my statements
proven there. This evening I will post a detailed comment
on all seven samples and tell you, why wireless TTL is well
overpriced and why the system worked in these specific
situations with respect to my aforementioned reservations.
Maybe you see better what I mean afterwards.
